Nail Polish

I, like many girls, have an abundance of nail polishes. So, I thought I would share with you some of the good ones, and some of the not so good ones. I have a variety of colours, although I have a lot of blue! As you can see, I also have a lot of Barry M nail polishes. This is because
A few of my nail polishes

Top Line
My first one is a blue glitter from Barry M that I am really disappointed that I can't find anywhere in the shops. It has cool packaging as the lid is glittery like the actual polish. I really like Barry M because they are cheaper than number 7, but aren't really bad quality. Also, Boots quite often do a 2 for 3 so I can get one cheaper! Another thing that I like about them is that the bottle is square, this means that they are very easy to store. This sounds a bit strange, but I have a lot and it is very difficult to fit them all in one place!

My next one is basically the blue glitter, but in gold. This gives a more festive, exciting look than the blue, but I really like them both. I usually end up wearing the blue one more because I wear a lot of blue, so it goes with everything.

Next is "Black Multi Glitter" or number 333/321. Again, it is Barry M and I really like it because black goes with most things, so it is a very versatile nail polish. Also, it adds a little bit of excitement because of the glitter in it. The glitter is quite subtle, so it doesn't distract from your outfit.

Next is Maybelline's "show me the green", I got this for Christmas from a friend. even though it is a very pretty colour, it is very thin and comes off quite easily. So it's ok for a night out, but if you want to wear it for multiple days, then this is not the one for you.

Bottom line
One of my favourites is a Number 7 stay perfect nail polish that I stole from my mum. It is a bright blue called "stand back" 300. It is very good quality nail polish and is very rich in colour. I love it! Obviously Number 7 is a bit more expensive than Barry M for example, but I definitely think that it is worth it.

ANOTHER two Barry Ms are next, "Indigo" 312 which have had forever and my mum steals from me! And "Spring Green" 290 which I recently bought and I feel is a rather spring/summery colour.

Although the next two are Barry M, they are crackle nail polishes. This means that they act like a coloured top coat, but they crack so that you can see the colour below as well. I have them in black and white as I feel these two colours go with literally everything. The one thing with crackle nail polish is that you can only apply them once, if you try to do any kind of second coat, you just cover up the crackle and it doesn't work. This can be really frustrating as you have to completely redo the whole nail. However, I think they look really cool and it means you can have two colours on one nail without a load of faff.

Again a Barry M! This one in "shocking pink" 272. I originally bought this for a friend, but decided to keep it instead. I am not normally a pink kinda girl but I thought "why not?" I really like it and it is the only pink in my collection (so far!).

These last two are from Ted Baker. I don't know what they are called, but one is a goldy orange colour and one is silvery. I really like the colours, but was a bit disappointed because they come off really easily. If you use them, then I would definitely use a top coat, I am normally lazy and don't, but if you don't use a top coat with these, then they will come off very quickly. I would actually suggest buying Barry M over Ted Backer because they are better and cheaper!

Other nail stuff
These nail things are not nail polishes, but they do stuff to your nails. It can look quite cool, but only if you do it right!

The first two are little beads that you pour over a clear nail polish and they stick to it creating a bobbly effect. They can look quite cool but need an over coat because they fall off quite easily. I got given these which is why they are pink and purple. These are just from a pound shop, but I think you can get them from the internet as well.

Almost all of the other ones are nail art pens. These came in a pack and are quite good for doing details on your nails. The glittery ones aren't very good, but the coloured ones work really well. They come with a little pointy bit and a brush option. They are really cool and very effective.

The very last one is a glittery top coat from Clair's, I really like it because it adds a little bit of fun to an outfit! :)
